The three members of the Secretariat, headed by Director-General Jennifer Martin, are the principal organizers of the conference and are in charge of all members of the RiMUN staff. Lisa van Beek is Deputy-Director General, and Tom van Assendelft de Coningh is Secretary- General.
They will be available throughout the conference to address any issues delegates may have with their committee or with the conference as a whole.

At registration you will first check in with the staff to make sure that we have received all your fees. You will then get all of the conference materials for your delegates.
What is a Model United Nations without its social activities? RiMUN will feature an great city tour through Nijmegen, Drinks for Diplomacy, a Global Village, Committee Dinners,  and last but not least, a spectacular cocktail party!
The dress code during all sessions is business formal. Casual wear is suitable for most other events. However do not forget black tie and cocktail dress for the cocktail party!
RiMUN does not provide any meals. During the conference lunches can be purchased at the university. Regarding dinner;  click here for suggestions of restaurants in Nijmegen.
Delegates may bring and use their personal laptops at RiMUN 2010. The final say on laptop use in committees is up to the Chairs’ discretion.
The chairs hold the right to suspend laptop use at any time if it disrupts committee proceedings.
Observers are member states or non-governmental organizations invited by the committee chair or the Secretary-General to participate in the committee's deliberations to broaden the range of perspectives. Observers can submit, work on and even sign resolutions and amendments in order to fulfill the requirements to have them debated on the floor. The only thing observers cannot do is vote on substantive issues (resolutions or amendments).
RiMUN 2010 will be bigger and better than any RiMUN you have seen before. The WorldMUN 2009 experience has strengthened the organizers of RiMUN - United Netherlands - in their aim at producing the best MUN conference ever.
Approximately 500 delegates will be hosted in Nijmegen, making RiMUN one of the world's biggest and most international MUN conferences.
Traditionally, we are committed to upholding and improving the exceptional quality of content and committee topics of the conference.
Therefore, RiMUN 2010 will have a highly realistic character, making the conference a great experience for everyone who is striving to participate in an outstanding international MUN experience.
All national and international university students are eligible to participate - recent graduates are also welcome.
No, you do not have to have any MUN experience.  We only need your enthusiasm!
You can register  with a group, but you can also participate as an individual. To register please fill in the registration form here.
You can indicate the number of delegates in your delegation when filling in the registration form.
The maximum number of delegates in a delegation is 20. Exceptions can be requested by sending a e-mail to rimun@unitednetherlands.org. Participating with a larger delegation is only possible after our approval.
To add a delegate, please send an e-mail to rimun@unitednetherlands.org to see if any places are available. If there are any open single places, you will be asked to immediately provide the 40 euros late delegate fee, which can be done through our online electronic payment system (PayPal), credit card or iDeal.
A delegation is allowed bring faculty advisors. A faculty advisor cannot actively participate in the discussions in the councils but is allowed to watch in the different councils and is very welcome to give advice and share ideas with the delegates. If you want to register as a faculty advisor you can indicate this on the registration form. Faculty advisors will get a € 10,- refund on the registration fee at the beginning of the conference.
When you have filled out the registration form you will receive a confirmation within two weeks. If you have not received a personal confirmation within two weeks, please send an e-mail to rimun@unitednetherlands.org.
The deadline for applications is the 6th of April 2010.
Different types of accomodation are available, including hostels, hotels and facilities at the gym. You will be able to  indicate your preference after registration. Please keep in mind that different prices apply to each option.
Together with your accommodation choice you will automatically also book the transportation for the entire weekend. Transportation for the entire weekend will cost under 20 euro’s.
If you require a visa to visit the Netherlands and thus require an invitation please this during registration.

Please note
You will receive a letter invitation only after we have received payment of the registration fee and one other service (such as the social package). You can purchase these things after registration through our online web shop.
The registration fee for every delegate, whether as part of a group or not, is € 35,-. The late registration fee is € 40,- which you will have to pay when you want to register after the application deadline, which is the first of March 2010.

The social package costs € 32,-.
All payments go through our website. You can only pay when you have succesfully created an account by registering for RiMUN 2010 on this website. You can select products/services and the conference fee in our web shop. Payment is done by credit card and PayPal.

Please print your receipt for your own records and let us know if you have any questions about your balance.

Please note
Each delegate needs an account to register online for the conference and each delegate needs to pay their registration fee through this account to complete the registration for RiMUN 2010.

In summary
A delegate can use a credit card to pay.
or
A delegate can use a PayPal account to pay.

However
The credit card or paypal account with which the payment is made does not have to belong to the specific delegate who is registering. If you do not have a credit card or paypal account, you should find someone who does (perhaps the Head Delegate) and ask that person to pay for you during check out.

There is no penalty for dropping out at any point before the registration deadline. For approximately one week following the registration deadline, delegates may cancel their application and receive a 50% refund. After this period, no refunds can be issued.
Financial support is - unfortunately - not provided. Transport and accommodation in Nijmegen is reasonably cheap. (Tip: why not try some fundraising?)
